Dear Anglophiles: As many of you know, the Scottish government plans to hold the Scottish Independence Referendum in 2014, in which it will ask its electorate, "Should Scotland be an independent country?" (I.e., Should Scotland not be part of the U.K.?) Scotland's relationship with (and its grievances against) the U.K. are complex. This brilliant video by the Scottish hip-hop group STANLEY ODD is a fabulous primer on the topic. The song they sing is appropriately named Marriage Counselling.
