Today is the last official day of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. What an extraordinary event it has been! We Anglophiles on this side of the pond have been frustrated by lack of TV coverage. ABC television network was given exclusive rights to cover the Diamond Jubilee for the U.S., but they sure dropped the ball! Their coverage has been very spotty. Fortunately, they will air the big concert tonight--at 9 EST. And in the mornings, on their news programming, they have been shooting live from London, which has made our Anglophile hearts beat rapidly!
